Sunabe Seawall

These are some pics of the seawall area about 5 minutes from our house.  We like to go down there on Sunday evenings if it's not rainy so we can see the beautiful sunsets.  Recently, we met a local Japanese man that rides his bike along the seawall every weekend (he lives about 30 minutes away), mainly so he can find Americans that are willing to let him practice his English!  He actually speaks it very well, but still wants more practice.  We have met him twice now, and last time I brought him cornbread.  He said his favorite American foods are cornbread, blueberry muffins, and brownies!  I hope to get a picture of him next time we chat with him, but in the meantime, here are some pics of the beauty surrounding us!

White Beach Branch Activity

For our church fall activity this year, we went camping at White Beach and had a chili cook-off!  These pics show the area above the beach that I posted last June.  We were able to stay in an adorable, rustic cabin up on a cliff overlooking the port.  The next day, Chas and I went snorkeling while Shantae stayed on the beach and read-she's not really into the whole swimming/snorkeling thing.  But she got some good reading time in while we braved the deeps!  By the time we started back toward the beach the tide had gone out enough that we walked half the way back!  Overall, it was a great weekend!

Cute kitty that lives by the cabins.  We also had two cute baby lizards living inside our cabin.  Good thing they don't freak me out!  I just thought they were adorable!
Ignore the stupid date - my camera is dumb.  I miss Alyssa's camera!!1

Our cabin was the one on the far left.

At breakfast the next morning at a cafe down the hill from our cabin.

Tokyo Disney Characters

I had to post these separate from the two previous posts so you could see the cute characters roaming Disneyland and Sea.  Shantae spent a lot of her time standing in lines to get photos and signatures from them.  When she wasn't doing that, her favorite thing to do was SHOP!  At one point I said to Chas, "Is she seriously shopping again!?"  He replied with, "Don't worry; she really just has to walk through the store and touch everything.  Then she's fine."  Teehee!

Chas didn't want a pic so Minny chased him down, played with his beard, kissed him, then made him go to her house to take a pic.  As you can see by the on-lookers, it was quite the spectacle!

Which one is Grumpy?  Can't tell...

Tokyo DisneySea-our FAV!

So, as you can tell, DisneySea was by far our favorite part of the whole "Disney" experience.  It's unique to Tokyo, so you won't find it anywhere else!  Sorry for the amount of pics!!!

Explanation: I just left my DisneySea ticket on the seat of the bus.  We had to wait an hour to get it back!  But as you can see, Chas enjoyed my suffering while trying to be supportive. :-)

These were so cute!  The handles on the Disney Metro were Mickey Mouse, along with the shapes of the windows!

It rained on our last day, but it was awesome because the lines were almost nonexistent! Plus, I scored this way awesome rain jacket!

Our favorite ride, Tower of Terror, enjoyed our presence 4 times!!!
